My favourite TV shows

Here are some tips of the best TV programmes for you.

Let's start with Futurama

A pizza delivery guy named Fry gets frozen in time by mistake in 1999 and wakes up a thousand years later, in the distant future. Having met his great great great... great nephew - a mad scientist - Fry starts working in his old nephew's space deliver company. His best friend is an alcoholic robot, born (or rather to say made) in Mexico. The woman Fry is really into is his co-worker called Leela, who acknowledges his feelings but won't return them.

My opinion

One of the funniest stuff I've ever seen. Although it's situated in the future, the critic of present mankind is huuge. It's like Simpsons for sci-fi fans.

Next show I want to mention is IT Crowd.

It's pretty much close to what I want (or am supposed) to do - Information technologies. Here is a brief description of the three main characters.

Moss lives with his mum, who also dresses him, styles his hair and buys his clothes. He's highly intelligent, scared of spiders and has the social skills of a serial killer. The closest he's got to a woman is Lara Croft, and he struggles to communicate with anything that doesn't have a keyboard.

The smiling face of the I.T. Department, Roy's spiky personality ensures he'll always be kept away from normal people as long as possible. He's king of the basement, indulging his love of comic books, fast food, computer games and random arguments with his best friend, Moss.

Jen knows nothing about IT, she only got the job because she said she had extensive experience of computers like using mices, clicking, double-clicking, and that thing that goes on the floor... the er hard-drive? As well as being their line manager, Jen is Roy and Moss' agony aunt, relationship coach and guru about life outside the basement. Not that her life is going particularly well, it's just better than theirs.
